The Bees have Arrived Mr. Burt that is…

I’ve been a long fan of Burt’s Bees since I smelled the delicious coconut, peppermint foot cream. It deeply hydrates, very thick in texture and a bit on the sticky side, so unless you want to slip-n-slide in your living room- apply socks. I also turn to Mr. Bees to get my fix on all-things-organic and you know ladies/gents we should be watching how much of those nasty chemicals and toxins we apply to our skin or even eat. (so junk food is on an occasion).
Before I linger on and on about Mr. Bees I shopped around in Japan, online, offline looking for the best deal, and great prices not to mention a trustworthy shop. I did find a few who sold the line but the prices were heavily marked up and so I turned to my BFF (Best-Friend-Forever) eBay.
What I love most about the company (Burt’s Bees) is “Trust”, but they are not a line that promotes itself on hyped up marketing, the whole point of their promotions are down-to-earth.
Burt was a bee keeper who sold honey, beeswax at craft fairs in Main. Just like Auntie Annes pretzels , who I met face to face (the founder) at a local fair once in the Dutch side of town- Pennsylvania. I knew then she would be a huge hit, a success. I can only imagine those who were lucky enough to meet Burt felt the same.
1. Two Foot Cremes
2. Baby Bees Honey and Milk (for myself-left me smelling and feeling like cotton candy) (My FAV)
3. Milk & Honey body lotion
4. Lip Gloss, works well but taste is just okay..
5. Bay Rum Cologne bought for my darling, he smells like rustic ginger- a nice lingering smell I shall dab some one myself.
6. Body Butter Honey and Shea Butter.
All of this, including shipping to Japan was- $81.99 ($35 was allocated to shipping) US Dollars! Not bad when I compared getting two creams at 5400 yen plus shipping!
